MONTICCHIELLO (PIENZA) – The Teatro Povero di Monticchiello presents its free theatrical workshops, open to all ages: courses for children, teenagers and adults. The first meeting will be held Sunday, October 28 at 5,00 pm, at the Teatrino della Compagnia.

Many come to see them every summer, mingling with them on the square / stage of Monticchiello: a devoted audience that has learned to know the actresses and actors of the Teatro Povero, their particular art that has been called “autodrama”. They are women and men, children and the elderly, a group of all ages working for months on a theatrical and social project together, and then sharing it on the square with the public. Their strength is also in that unique way of staging: a genuine popular expressiveness, full of dignity, never complacent or gratuitous. Monticchiello really believes that theater is for everyone and everyone: that everyone can participate, enriching and enriching themselves in the group. And this spirit is what animates the free theatrical workshops with which the Teatro Povero opens its doors to those who want to approach the experience: for the youngest, certainly, children and teenagers; but also courses for adults, regardless of age.

The presentation of the workshops will be Sunday, October 28 at 5,00 pm, at the Teatrino della Compagnia. The schedule of subsequent meetings will be agreed according to the needs of the groups.
